The Origin
In 2009, Zach Korzyk, a math teacher in Manhattan, noticed a recurring problem. His students were practicing, but they weren't always practicing correctly. By the time they received feedback on their homework, the misconception had already taken root.
Zach started coding DeltaMath in his spare time. His goal was simple: provide students with infinite practice problems, instant feedback, and detailed, step-by-step solutions the moment they got an answer wrong.
What started as a tool for a single classroom quickly spread by word of mouth. Teachers loved the depth of the content, and students appreciated the clarity of the explanations.
